30 Day Idol Challenge - Day 1: Your favorite Idol
Miyabi Natsuyaki!
It’s funny. Waay back when I encountered groups in Hello! Project, I didn’t know that Buono! was the name of the group Miyabi was in - in fact, Miya wasn’t even my favorite at the time! I only had eyes for Momoko. O_O I didn’t even really think of Miyabi until I saw Buono!’s “Gachinko de Ikou!” video when she changed her hair. I actually didn’t recognize her so I looked up to see if they replaced a member, then had to tell them apart from their other videos and pictures (yeahh…) I read a lot of comments about how everyone didn’t really like what Miya did to her hair, but I loved it! ♥
It actually was the hair that made me notice Miya in the first place, not because it made her “look prettier than everyone else” or something like that, but because she stood out. I adore her haircut and color so much! I really hope she doesn’t change it, not that I would “hate her” or anything for it.
Anyway, eventually I was able to tell the girls of Buono! and Berryz apart, so I could fangirl all over their outfits and hairstyles and dancing. I was constantly watching out for Miya in the older videos and wondering why I hadn’t recognized her talent before. She just gets better at dancing and singing with every song! I just love the way her voice stands out as much as her hair! xDDD
Alright all you yaoi fanatics, listen up!
Today I ended up making a Facebook group dedicated to wanting to see more of Youka Nitta’s beautiful work done in English. It sucks major balls that her work is so unappreciated and that none of it is really available in English (no, kindle does not count toward this) or that whatever WAS in English was translated badly (yes, I’m talking to you, BeBeautiful) or is not being continued for unknown reasons.
Please, please, please, please, please join this group in order to try and get more of Nitta’s works in English! Link it to others, re-blog, etc, it would help a shitload to get the word out there! And if you haven’t heard of her, please check her out, because she is just such an amazing mangaka.
